Miranda Barrett, RN
My name is Miranda Barrett, and I am the Director of The Haven Assisted Living. It is an honor to have the pleasure of working in such a special place and to be a leader within Northwest Colorado Health. I am dedicated to providing our residents a warm and welcoming home where they can thrive with grace, dignity, and comfort. I am honored to lead our team in providing exceptional care and support to the remarkable individuals who call our community home.
I struck gold over ten years ago when I started working at The Haven as a Caregiver, and I immediately fell in love with the residents and the atmosphere. Several years later, I had to part ways with The Haven after obtaining a nursing degree. Still, every chance I had, I stated that it was my favorite place I had ever been employed, and I missed it everyday. Fortunately, after a few years, I could return as a registered nurse and eventually move into the director position. I knew I had the wealth of experience and the deep commitment to keep The Haven what it always has been: special.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have raised both of my children in Hayden, and I am confident there isn’t a better place to grow up and grow old in. If I am doing anything else, it typically involves playing music. Music is essential to me. I have played the trumpet since I was a teenager and am proficient with the piano. Daily, I have many opportunities to share my love of music with residents, one of my favorite parts of my job.
