I have worked at the Haven as a caregiver for nearly three years, and it has been the most fulfilling job I have ever had. I am excited to be in this new position and bring joy and enrichment to the residents who live here.
Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved taking care of things, from plants to animals to people. My husband and I love to take anything that needs a home. With a background as a veterinary technician, we have unintentionally started an animal rescue on our little acre of land.
I grew up and met my husband here, and I deeply love the Yampa Valley and consider it my home. I am grateful for the opportunity to love and learn from the residents who have lived here for years, as well as for being dedicated to making it a home for those who are not from the area. So, they can fall in love with this place the way I have./
