Kaitlynn Hayes

My name is Kaitlynn Hayes and I'm a life long resident of Routt County.  I was very involved in the community all though elementary school - high school; volunteering, playing every sport imaginable, including rodeo and being very active in 4-H. On top of all of that, I also worked as a Certified Nurse Aide at Casey's Pond and Caregiver here at The Haven. After high school, went to Garden City Community College (Garden City, Ks) on full ride rodeo scholarship where I studied Agribusiness and Economics.  After college, I moved back to Colorado, went back to work at Casey's Pond as a C.N.A and also took over the rodeo company/stock contracting/bucking horse business my family had started.  Fast forward a year, I took a scheduling position at Casey's and now I am ever so happy to be here!

When I am not at work here, I am managing (spoiling) my 70+ head of bucking horses and mini bulls, participating and putting on rodeos all over the US, community involvement and spending time with my family.

On top of my healthcare background I also am familiar with billing/coordinating, order buying and helping with my parents trucking company, on top of running my own businesses; Rocky Mountain Mini Broncs & Mini Bulls and KH Bucking Horses.

I chose to come back to The Haven because it is home to me. I spent a lot of time growing as a young adult, discovering my passion of caring for people, and being able to give back to my elders. I love being a caregiver, but I also wanted to expand and try something new. I feel in this role as Life Enrichment Coordinator, I will be able to give back and make each and every residents day and life better by hosting and involving them in activities that "find their inner youth" and bring a smile to their face, on top of getting to use my leadership skills!
